Tomes and Talismans–A theory

I think that the entire phenomenon of library anxiety stems from this stupid television show. So, take all of these people were forced to watch this when they were kids. They were either bored, scared or both so they didn’t like to use libraries. Then they passed this on to their kids and here we are today. When I was in grade school, the nuns made us watch this really scary movie about strangers and little kids getting murdered in the woods. I was totally traumatized by this “educational” film. Anyway, to this day I’m afraid to go into the woods. Same principle.

Damn you, Miss Bookart! You killer of all that is interesting about libraries!
