I’ve been reading up on coin collecting because I have a small collection of US coins and because I’ve been bored. In case you didn’t know, coin collectors are as voracious and as mental about their thing as book collectors though perhaps not as loony as stamp collectors. I do not have a 1894-S “Barber” dime. Since I do not have one of these dimes, I’m disappointed with my collection and am going to shove it back in the drawer and look in my book collection for a first of James Joyce’s Ulysses. If I don’t have it, I give up.
